Our Heron's Nest cottage features a screened porch, living and dining area, outdoor shower, a grill, and private parking. Outdoor spaces overlook the canopies of Kiawah's live oak trees.

House Rules

The Town of Kiawah requires that all bikes be stored in a bike rack when not in use, between the hours of 7pm and 7am. We have provided a bike rack under the cottage for our guests

The space
The Heron's nest at Kiawah provides a relaxing retreat with updated designer decor, and finishes. The central gathering room offers comfortable furnishings and dining space and opens into a screened porch that is nestled into the oak trees. The three bedrooms offer updated designer linens and finishes. The master King room has an ensuite marble finished bath. The two guest rooms have 1 Queen and 4 Twins and share an updates jack and Jill bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with the appliances, dishes, and utensils you will need for your home away from home.
Guest access
We have hired the Kiawah Resort to provide our property management services. As a result, our guests have access to resort amenities that are only provided to resort guests: Pool Access at Night Heron and West Beach, Preferred Tee Times, Referred Dining Reservations, On-Island Shuttle Services, Resort Fitness Facilities, and Discounts on Recreation activities.
Guest interaction
The property management of our cottage is provided by the Kiawah Resort. The resort team is available 24 hours a day to support you. You can contact them directly through the phone number provided at check in. Or, there is a resort direct phone in the cottage that will connect you to the front desk.
Neighborhood overview
The Night Heron Cottages are conveniently located in the center of the island on East Beach. They are adjacent to a 22 acre park with a pool complex, restaurants, a nature center and craft studio, a fitness center, disk golf course, basketball court, soccer fields, outdoor night movies, and seasonal resort activities. And, the cottage is just a 4 minute walk to the beach.
Getting around
Many of our guests enjoy leaving their keys behind and biking around Kiawah on the 30 miles of bike trails. Bikes can be rented and will be delivered directly to the cottage. Rental options include the Kiawah Resort, Seaside Cycles, Alligator Bike Rentals, Vayak and many more. The Island of Kiawah does not allow guest to drive golf carts around the island for the safety of guests.
